Inzombiac started out being an image sharing Facebook group back in 2007 on the campus of the University of Irvine, California. It was a combination of not being able to sleep, not wanting to sleep, and using ‘studying’ as an excuse to stay up and internet (yes, it’s a verb now) while not sleeping. But far from being restricted to collecting and sharing pictures from the internet, it also collected a small network of friends, many of which have known each other since times immemorial. Since then, things have slowly grown to include a relatively sizable but close community consisting of people with many talents and many voices we feel should be heard.
As of 2012, Inzombiac projects have, and are, developing rapidly. While the Facebook group will always be our home, this will soon be our hub. Our communication to the internet, from the internet, about the internet.
We are more than just a facebook group where we share images. We are more than just a like page where you can check up on new developments. We are a community. We are a family. We are Knights of the Inter-night. Vanquishers of Reposts. We are afflicted with the Inzombiac virus. We are Inzombies. And our affliction will soon infect more than just us–it will soon infect you.
Hey, we’re sorry about the horrendous bite, but don’t worry, you’ll be fine; You’re in the right place.
